We absolutely love the rustic, earthy look of reclaimed wood. It gives such personality and vintage charm to any space whether it be furniture, flooring or walls.. I have been planning to cover a wall of my guest room in odd planks of scrapwood for the past year but I have found it difficult to find the exact type and colours that I want within my price range. Well, I need look no further. I recently did a post featuring Piet Hein Eek's scrapwood wallpaper where it was used to transform a plain BESTA sideboard from IKEA. This scrapwood wallpaper is from Studio Ditte and costs €199 a roll which measures 900cm long and 45cm wide. It would make an incredible backdrop to any room and would add rustic charm and character to an all-white scheme. I'm pretty sure the cost of the roll would be less than buying a pallet of real reclaimed wood on top of the labour cost for a chippie to nail it up for you...
