Emily Henderson is the unofficial queen of interiors blogging. After reading her blogs, you're just left wishing she'd come 'round yours and work her magic to make it beautiful. Her interiors styling skills are second to none, and if we can't have her style our houses, we'd settle for a good nose around her home.
You'd assume it would be interiors goals all over and since she recently put her Californian home on sale for a cool $1.03 million (just under €1 million), we've gotten our chance.
She bought the home, according to property records, for $638,000, but the listing notes Emily has extensively renovated the home since she purchased it. She's outfitted it with acaia wood flooring, Hunter Douglas electronic window treatments, custom built-ins, Erin Adams and Fireclay tiles, and Caesarstone countertops in their eat-in kitchen. She's also adorned the walls in several of the rooms with custom wallpaper designs, including a forest scene in the guest bedroom and a more abstract work in the baby room.
She notes in her blog that you can buy many of the items used in the home's staging along with the residence, so what you'd be getting is Emily Henderson's house essentially styled by Emily Henderson herself. Eh, the dream?
The mid-century three-bedroom, two-bathroom home opens into a step-down living room with a pitched ceiling and wall-to-wall windows that keep the home looking light and airy. Plus, it takes advantage of the property's city and mountain views.

The move from the beautiful home is an emotional one for Emily and her family, according to her blog. "We moved in here 6 days before we had our first child, Charlie. Then we had Elliot 2 years later," she wrote. "Eight months ago when Brian suggested looking for a new house (one with a yard) I cried so hard and was even mad at him for betraying this house and its memories. I kept saying but we've had the best years of our lives here?? And he agreed, but said maybe we could have even better ones."
How long do we have to wait to see what she does where ever she moves next?
