You can always count on IKEA to come out with some gorgeous homewares coming into autumn/winter, and this year is no exception. Their minimalist October new home decor launches celebrate the beauty of minimalist design and handcrafted materials, and embrace pastel tones and deep shades of blue. You'll feel the natural elements of the Nordics throughout the new collections, as they truly capture Scandinavian style at its best.

Amongst the new home decor collections is a selection of upholstered furniture from sleep sofas, to chairs, and a newly designed range of textiles with vibrant colours and bold patterns. The minimalist October launches are also full of products made of more sustainable materials, down to the smallest of items like the resealable plastic bags made of bioplastic that is recyclable and renewable. For the kids, there is a new range of soft toys, including snuggle-friendly animals and a range of soft toy balls ideal for indoor games.

You're all going to be mad about the luxurious REMSTA armchair in velvet, which comes in yellow, grey and navy blue, and is only €150. It's based on a similar design from the range in the 1960s, which gives it a lovely timeless feel, while still being versatile enough to find a home in your living room, bedroom, or even your hallway.
