What is it:
Located in Cottonwood, Idaho in the US of A, the whimsical Dog Bark Park Inn boasts the world's biggest beagle.
What’s so special:
The huge wooden canine makes for cozy lodgings with a main bedroom in his body, a loft room with additional sleeping space in his head and a snug alcove in his muzzle. We don’t know about you, but being in the doghouse has never sounded so attractive to us.
The details:
Accommodation works out at $92 (€72) per night B&B for double occupancy with additional guests charged at $8 (€6) a head.
Getting there:
As it’s located in the Camas Prairie in rural Idaho, this destination is best suited as a pit stop on the iconic American road trip, though Aer Lingus flies from Dublin to Seattle and Portland if you want to take a more direct route.
