As the hype builds towards the 2013 launch of Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby, expect fashion and interiors to be heavily influenced by all things Roaring Twenties. While we're never that keen on taking a retro trend wholesale and we're keener on adapting elements to suit our own interiors, we reckon anyone's home will be enhanced with a couple of nods to Art Deco styling.
Last autumn's Delphine collection by Harlequin, above, is a brilliant example. Using contemporary colours and nods to the period like a reliance on nature prints and geometric shapes, it's a gorgeous way to get the look without turning your living room into a museum showpiece. Nice one.
