House and Home reader and craft-lover Michelle Fallon is attempting a world first this April and looking for volunteers to take part! On Saturday April 30, Michelle and a gathering of knitters will attempt to enter the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of people knitting simultaneously. The rules, as set down by the Guinness Book of Records, state that everyone must be knitting simultaneously for 15 minutes on two needles (no circular needles allowed!). The event is part of the Roscommon Lamb Festival and starts at 3pm sharp at The Hyde, Roscommon town.
To enter the annals of knittingĀ - and world record - history, Michelle needs as many knitters as possible, so if you fancy taking part, Email [email protected] and check out the progress of her mission at www.facebook.com/roscommonlambfestival
Happy Knitting!
