Hollywood icons Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell put their LA mansion up for sale for a cool $7.25 million. The longtime couple bought the vaguely Colonial style residence, which the listing says "exudes character and a feeling of 'home'", in August 2004 for $4.12 million.
The sprawling two-storey house sits on 0.41 acres behind high hedge, and with over 6400 square feet of space, it has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. It features oversize skylights, an open-floor living room with built-in bookcases, a country kitchen with a farmhouse-style sink, a massive master suite with adjoining master bathroom and a home gym.
Listing details indicate one of the upstairs bedrooms is kitted out as a “gym/pilates room,” and a “welcoming media room” overlooks the swimming pool. Somewhere on the property there’s also a “separate meditation room.”
Although the couple also sold off their Malibu beach house just a few years ago, they still own a ranch in Aspen, Colorado, as well as a vineyard in Southern California. It would appear the Hawn-Russells may only be moving down the road to a slightly more than half-acre parcel they purchased in early 2011 for $5.7 million, where they built a brand new house.
