She's probably one of the most glamorous children around, so there's no reason to assume four-year-old Penelope Disick doesn't also have a much cooler bedroom than you.
Kourtney Kardashian's daughter with Scott Disick, recently got a 'big girl room' when they moved into a new house, and we got a peek inside it on Kourtney's website. Surprise, surprise, it's pretty cool, and even Penelope's dolls have double-tiered wardrobes. In fairness, what's the point of being Kourtney Kardashian's daughter if your dolls aren't treated well too?
Kourtney Kardashian prides herself on her interior design skills, so much so, it's frequent theme on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. She put them to work while dreaming up Penelope's room. "When we moved into the new house, Penelope was ready for a big girl room, but she definitely still wanted something playful and pink," she wrote. "We kept a lot of accents from her previous room, but went for a more sleek and modern feel."
Kourtney enlisted decorator Martyn Lawerence Bullard to help her "create a beautiful space" for her children Mason (7), Penelope (4) and Reign (2).
He designed a bed for Penelope, with a wooden frame and headboard upholstered in velvet to make it more child-friendly. "The soft fabric really warms up the room and is great for kids so they don't bump into a wood frame," Kardashian says.
The neon 'Love Me' light is a hand-me-down from Kourtney's own bedroom, and the vintage Lucite clothing rack is from Kourtney's grandmother MJ's kids clothing shop Shannon + Co. in La Jolla, California.
The mum-of-three says she took inspiration from her own mam, Kris Jenner, who taught her the "joy" of interior design. "My mom has always had a vision for our houses - she taught us the joy of interior design," Kourtney wrote. "And I have vivid memories of my dad's closet, which was always immaculate. My sisters and I are perfectionists because we were brought up that way."
